What is an implant?
It is an artificial root that replaces the missing tooth. It is implanted into the jawbone and after infiltrating into the organism it functions as an own root.
How long does it take for the implant to recover?
The recovery takes normally 3-4 months. In case bone replacement is necessary during the implantation then the recovery can take up to 6 months.
Can I get an implant if I don’t have own teeth?
Yes, of course! If the bone amount of the jaw is sufficient, than the artificial root can be implemented without further ado.
How long does it take to prepare a crown or a bridge?
If the teeth to be crowned are healthy, then the bridge and the crown can be prepared in a week.
How long do I have to wait after a tooth extraction if I would like an implant?
If the place of the tooth is not inflamed, and the wound is not too big after the extraction, then 6-8 weeks waiting is enough, however if the situation is not that optimal, then the waiting is 3 months.
